Everything you need to keep your extensions looking salon-fresh.
Washing Your Extensions
- Wash every 2–3 days maximum - over-washing strips moisture
- Always use Be U Extension Cleanse Shampoo (sulfate-free)
- Wet hair gently, never rub or scrub at the bonds
- Work shampoo from root to tip in a downward motion
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water
- Follow immediately with Be U Repair Conditioner (mid-lengths to ends only - never on bonds)
- Rinse with cool water to seal the cuticle
Heat Styling
- Always apply Be U Leave-In Treatment Cream before heat
- Keep heat tools below 380°F near bonds
- Use a heat protectant on every pass
- Never apply direct heat to keratin or tape bonds
- Allow hair to cool before brushing after styling
Brushing & Detangling
- Always brush before washing, not after
- Start from the ends and work upward
- Hold hair above the bonds when brushing near roots
- Use a loop brush or soft paddle brush
- Never brush when soaking wet - gently detangle with fingers
Sleeping & Daily Wear
- Braid or loosely tie hair before sleeping
- Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase
- Never sleep with wet hair
- Avoid tight ponytails pulling at bonds
- Remove clip-in extensions before sleeping
Extending the Life of Your Extensions
- Book a maintenance appointment every 6–8 weeks
- Store extensions in the original packaging when not in use
- Avoid chlorine and saltwater without prior protection
- Keep extensions away from direct sunlight for extended periods
- Use only Be U approved products on your extensions
